Did Mike crash Connor's car?

If there’s one lesson Pretty Little Liars has taught us all too well, it’s never call Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) a name and think you’ll get away with it. That’s what lacrosse jerk Connor (Michael Grant) found out when he spread a rumor around school that he and Aria had hooked up and then had the balls audacity to brand her an s-l-u-t! (Ugh. Don’t even get us started on society’s double standards.)

Well, Connor definitely wished he hadn’t messed with the Montgomery clan when he stumbled upon a black-hooded figure spray painting his car and then busting the windows out. The culprit fled the scene and, for the first time ever, we were totally rooting on the behalf of a criminal! So who exactly was to blame for this act of vandalism? Judging by a new preview clip from Season 4, Episode 7, it seems as though Aria has a suspect in mind…and it’s none other than her very own brother Mike (Cody Christian)!

“Whoever did it knows Connor’s a wuss. He always gets worked by offense, hasn’t fouled out of a game this season. Things get aggressive, he backs down. Every time,” Mike reveals a little too adamantly when he spots Connor’s destroyed vehicle. “You know, you never showed up at Emily’s open mic,” Aria inquires. Mike responds, “Sad chicks in hipster glasses, playing the same three chords and whining about their ex? Yeah, no thanks. Mike then senses that Aria suspects him and jokes, “Hello, I play lacrosse. It’s a tiny little stick. That was probably a bat, or a lead pipe; maybe even a sledgehammer.”

Caleb and Toby - Team Up

We love Caleb Rivers (Tyler Blackburn) and we love Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen). So naturally, it should come as no surprise that we have we have entertained the idea of the two of them becoming BFFs and taking their girlfriends Hanna and Spencer on many double dates in Rosewood. And it seems as though the Pretty Little Liars writers heard our cries and fulfilled one half of our wish because in Season 4, Episode 7 Caleb and Toby are teaming up to investigate what really happened at the lodge the night of the fire. (You know, the one from which the Liars claimed to have been rescued by their dead best friend!)

“Hanna’s mom, Emily’s parents, and now my brother? Can it get any worse?” With those few words, poor Aria Montgomery accidentally places the ultimate jinx upon her friends and herself. (Never tempt the fates, especially if one of them happens to be named after the first letter of the alphabet!) And, judging by all the mayhem shown in the preview trailer for Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Episode 7, it certainly seems as though A is entertaining new methods of punishment.

Let’s do a run down of all the scary situations we spotted: Hanna Marin struggles as her mom Ashley gets sent to the clink and becomes an extra in Orange is the New Black. Spencer, Aria, and Emily dabble in some breaking and entering to search for a clue that might help them identify A but, instead, they find a threatening note from A waiting for them. Caleb and Toby team up to investigate “A” and what really happened the night of the lodge fire and discover some spooky details about their town. And worst of all? Someone targets Emily’s mom Pam by smashing through their living room with a car!
